For Speakers

Information for Special Program Speakers
(Keynote, Educational Lecture, Symposium, Workshop, IFBLS Special Session, etc.)

All presentations will be discussed in English as oral presentations.
Please complete conference registration (or on-site registration) at the Registration Desk.

Preparing Presentation Data

Please note the following guidelines when preparing your presentation materials.

Fonts

To prevent character corruption and layout issues, please use standard fonts such as Arial, Century, Century Gothic, and Times New Roman.
If special fonts are used, we recommend converting the text to images before inserting it into your slides.

For Windows Users
  • Please prepare your presentation using Microsoft PowerPoint.
  • A slide size of 16:9 (widescreen format) is recommended.
  • The presentation PCs and projectors provided at the venue support Full HD resolution (1920 × 1080).
  • The operating system of the presentation PCs is Windows 11.
  • Microsoft PowerPoint (Office 365) will be used for presentations at the venue.
For Mac Users
  • If your presentation is created on a Mac, please thoroughly check in advance for any compatibility issues or layout changes when displayed in a Windows environment.
  • If your presentation contains video files or if you are concerned about possible display issues, bringing your own laptop is recommended.
  • The connection interface at the venue will be HDMI. If your device requires an adapter, please bring your own.
  • Please test your presentation on a different computer in advance and prepare backup data.
Bringing Presentation Data
  • Please save your presentation file on a USB flash drive and bring it with you.
  • Ensure that your USB flash drive has been scanned for viruses before arrival.
  • Please confirm that the presentation functions correctly on a computer other than the one used to create it.
  • The file name should be saved in the following format: “Presentation Number_Presenter Name”
  • Modifications to presentation data cannot be made at the venue. Please be sure to bring backup copies of your data.
  • All presentation data received by the organizers will be securely deleted after the conference.
Use of Video and Audio
  • If your presentation includes video or audio, please inform the staff at the time of registration.
  • MP4 format is recommended for video files.
  • In addition to embedding videos in your PowerPoint presentation, please bring the original video files as backup.
  • Video files and any linked data should be stored in the same folder as the presentation file.

Presentation Data Check-in

  1. Please complete data submission and preview testing at the PC preview room at least 60 minutes before your session begins (or 30 minutes before the first session of the day).
  2. Presentation files should be brought on a USB flash drive. Files sent in advance by mail or courier cannot be accepted.
  3. Presentation using a personal laptop is generally not permitted except in special circumstances.
    After completing the check-in process, presenters will receive a presentation confirmation slip.

Please present this slip to the audiovisual operator in your session room at least 30 minutes before the session begins (or immediately after PC reception for the first session of the day).

Presentation Time

Symposium 15–20 minutes per speaker/3–5 speakers per session
Total session duration: 90 minutes includes FAQ time
Workshop 10–15 minutes per speaker/3–5 speakers per session
Total session duration: 60 minutes includes FAQ time
  • Presentation time begins when the Chair starts introducing the presentation, not when the speaker begins speaking.
  • To maintain the schedule, presentations and discussions may be terminated if they exceed the allotted time.
  • All presentation data copied to conference computers will be securely deleted by the organizers after the conference.

Information for General session Presenters

All general session presentations will be presented in English and presented in poster format.
All presenters must complete conference registration (or on-site registration) at the Registration Desk. Presenters must complete their registration for IFBLS2026 by July 31, 2026 (Friday). Abstracts submitted by presenters who have not completed registration by the deadline will not be included in the Abstract Book.

Presentation Guidelines

  • No individual presentation time slots will be assigned for poster presentations. “Social Hours” will be held on Friday, September 25, from 09:00 to 12:00. Presenters are encouraged to visit the poster area during this time to interact with attendees and discuss their work.
  • Outstanding poster presentations will be considered for the Poster Award. Judges may visit your poster and ask questions regarding your research. Poster Award winners will be announced during the Closing Ceremony on September 27, Sunday morning.

Poster Setup

No check-in is required for poster presentations.
Thumbtacks will be provided at each poster board. Please mount your poster at the designated location according to your presentation number within the assigned setup period.
Presenters are requested to remain near their posters during the “Social Hours” and be available to answer questions from participants.

Please note: Posters must be removed during the designated removal period. Any posters remaining after the deadline will be removed and disposed of by the organizers.

Font Widely used font (Arial or Calibri recommended.)
Disclosure of COI To avoid any commercial bias, all authors must disclose conflicts of interest in a statement at the bottom of the poster.
  • Please prepare the title, affiliations, and author information within a space of 70 cm (W) × 20 cm (H).
  • Poster numbers will be prepared by the congress Secretariat.
  • The title, author names, affiliations, and poster content should be prepared by the presenter.
